Become a NICA Coach
We welcome coaches of all cycling experience levels - no coaching experience is required! You can commit to practices as often as twice a week, or just once a month. Over time, you can become a Level 1, 2, or 3 NICA coach.
When starting out, you can become a Level 1 coach by registering in the NICA Pit Zone, clearing a background check, and completing the required online coaching courses.
Levels 2 & 3 are similar, but require first aid training, field work, and an in-person training with NCICL Team Supporters
Also, you don’t have to be a coach to get involved with NICA!
Annie Ramsbotham, Team Founder & Head Coach 2021-2022
“The most rewarding part for me has been seeing our riders grow with each practice both individually and as a team, setting and achieving personal goals under the leadership of supportive, trained, and dedicated volunteer coaches.”
Joshua Harrington, Team Director
